Join the CWRU Office for Sustainability to learn the sustainability story of the to Nord Family Greenway, hear about the City of Cleveland's Tree Plan and celebrate our campus Sustainability Champions.

Experts James Sottilo, ELM Scapes Arborist, and Matt Langan, Sasaki Landscape Architect, (bios below) will speak about the Nord Family Greenway's planning and how trees and soil for the project were selected and cared for as well as general green grounds strategies and potential impacts on climate change resiliencey and mitigation efforts. Jill Zigler, Director of Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility at Forest City Realty Trust, acts as co-chair for the Cleveland Tree Plan and will speak about the Plan.

Heavy appetizers will be served.
