What is... Redistricting? A mapmaking solution to environmental injustice and government corruption.
It’s no secret that Ohio’s congressional and state legislative district maps are gerrymandered. Because of these maps, our legislators often to fail to respond to Ohio voters on our most pressing issues, especially renewable energy and the fight against climate change.
Fortunately, in 2015 and 2018, Ohioans overwhelmingly voted for new redistricting processes.
What even is gerrymandering? How does redistricting affect you? How will it impact environmental issues? How will the new districts represent your community?
