Tree Steward graduates, please mark your calendars for Wednesday October 24^th, when the very first Tree Steward Brainstorm Session will take place from 6:00-8:30 P.M. at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens.

During this event you will be able to participate in guided community brainstorm breakouts while enjoying light refreshments. This after-work event will be facilitated by the Holden Forests & Gardens and Western Reserve Land Conservancy staff you are familiar with from your Tree Steward Training experiences, and is intended to empower and encourage our Tree Stewards to develop events within their respective communities. The goal of the night will be to begin a working plan for self-directed events by, and for each neighborhood represented by our Tree Steward Graduates, with our staff present to support Tree Stewards in their planning efforts. Staff and volunteers alike are all interested in working towards a common goal of maintaining the trees we have, and planting new trees for the future of our communities, and the Forest City as a whole.
