"Just Eat It"- A Film and conversation about food waste in CLE
Did you know that 40% of food in North America gets wasted? That is 40% of food that never makes it to those who need it. Want to know why?
Join us for an evening filled with food waste! Enjoy the brilliant film "Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story" followed by a panel discussion moderated by The City Club of Cleveland's Stephanie Jansky, Director of Programming, with Greater Cleveland Food Bank CEO Kristin Warzocha, Kristin Hall from the Cleveland Mayor's Office of Sustainability, Pat Conway from Great Lakes Brewing Company, and G. Keymah Durden III, co-founder, Rid-All Green Partnership! The panel will discuss the issues of food waste highlighted in the film and focus on food rescue and food sustainability in Northeast Ohio.
Time: Reception begins at 5:30pm. Film rolls at 6:00pm.
