Vernal Poolooza 2021 is a series of five Virtual Presentations, which will take place between February and May. They will be compiled of 45 minutes of formal presentation on a variety of topics and 15 minutes of recent exploration in central Ohio’s vernal pools to share current conditions. Overall across the series, you’ll learn how to recognize, sample and develop a vernal pool, as well as see the vernal pool transitional process from winter into spring.

April 2- Vernal Pool Amphibians- Josh Dyer, Director of the Crawford Park District

Josh will share information related to frog and salamander species that rely on vernal pools. He will have some of the ambassadors of vernal pools with him, so have your questions ready!
