Please join us for the Northeast Regional Leadership Team's Annual Meeting where we will be welcoming Dr. Mark Hyman to speak about the Cleveland Clinic’s journey to achieving the WELL Building Silver certification.

Dr. Hyman will discuss the most innovative and stand-out aspects of their WELL project and address the link between a person’s wellness and the built environment. We will learn how WELL has influenced and shaped other areas of the Cleveland Clinic. We spend more than 90% of our time in buildings, and the WELL Building Standard is the first of its kind to focus solely on health and wellness. The International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) is a public benefit corporation whose mission is to improve human health and well-being in buildings and communities across the world through its WELL Building Standard (WELL). Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Functional Medicine Suite is one of the first medical offices to be awarded WELL Certification, at the Silver Level, a new building standard that integrates human health into building design and operation.

In addition, we will be recognizing the LEED certification achievements of several Northeast Ohio buildings that have demonstrated exemplary improvements and new construction since 2018.
