We'll kick off the burning river celebration week with a walking tour of the Cuyahoga River. Jane Goodman, Executive Director of Cuyahoga River Restoration will lead us on a tour starting and ending at Merwin's Wharf. We all know the Cuyahoga River fire made national news and inspired the clean water movement that started with passing the Clean Water Act. We'll learn more about the history of the river, the great work that's been done to restore it, it's condition today and what next steps are necessary to continue the great progress that has been made. We'll also learn about Thunderbird - the new development plans for the area including a mixed-use neighborhood and an expansion for Great Lakes Brewing.

We will be walking on paved and natural trails so wear your walking shoes!

The tour will start promptly at 4:30 PM and will take us about an hour.

Join us for a networking happy hour at 5:30 PM at Merwin's Wharf directly following the tour. 

The tour is free but a donation is always welcome.
