Dr. Sherri Mason, a pioneer in plastic pollution research in freshwater systems, will provide an update on her extensive research in the Great Lakes. She will share her findings on microbeads and present results from current surveys in the tributaries of the Great Lakes and wastewater treatment facilities around the country. Dr. Mason will offer solutions to address the serious threat of microbeads to Lake Erie.
