Sewer University is an introductory level workshop put on by the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District designed for Northeast Ohioans interested in learning more about the history and future of sewers, water quality, and sustainability in the region. It tells the story from the first Crapper toilet, combined and separate sewers, life on the Cuyahoga and tributaries, to modern day wastewater treatment and deep storage tunnels. Participants will walk away with a diploma where they graduate, sewer cum laude. Light refreshments will be provided.
