Sustainable Cleveland 2019 is celebrating the Year of People and 10 years of progress to make Cleveland a greener, healthier place to love. We want to celebrate all the awesome people working together to make Cleveland a thriving green city on a blue lake. Show us your sustainability by sharing photos of yourself or others doing a sustainable activity (biking to work, backyard composting, using a reusable water bottle/coffee mug, planting a tree, recycling, etc.) and you will be entered to win great prizes!

How to Enter:

• SNAP a photo of yourself or others doing a sustainable activity in Cleveland! See the list below of sustainable actions you can take at home, at work, and in your community.

• SHARE your photo by:
  • Posting on Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #SustainableCLE
  • Upload photos through Facebook app or the contest website

• WIN great prizes and be recognized!

By sharing your photo of sustainability in action, you will be entered into a drawing to win prizes, including a grand prize valued at more than $500! Select photos will also be showcased at the annual Sustainable Cleveland Summit in October 2019.

About Sustainable Cleveland and the Year of People

Ten years ago, Mayor Frank G. Jackson launched Sustainable Cleveland 2019,  a 10-year initiative to engage people from all walks of life to come together to design and develop Cleveland into a thriving green city on a blue lake. Since 2009, we have focused on sustainable actions and engagement essential to making Cleveland a greener and healthier place to live.

In 2019, Sustainable Cleveland is celebrating the Year of People! The Year of People celebration will recognize the many residents, community leaders, and volunteers who are helping make Cleveland a more sustainable and resilient city.
