Award-winning landscape design firm Salsbury-Schweyer, Inc invites residents, leaders, practitioners and peacemakers to Akron’s first Permaculture Design Course (PDC) starting Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Akron Global Business Accelerator. This 12-day core certification course will bring together some of the nation’s foremost authorities on permaculture and design, including Peter Bane, Sabrena Schweyer and Rhonda Baird. You’ll never look at the world the same way again!

Learn about the local ecosystem, design methods & process, reading the land’s sequence of connections, mapping the site, analyzing the site & systems, developing palettes of plants, animals & structures, aquaculture, soils, water, eathworks & much more.
