Every four years, the Federal Highway and Federal Transit Administrations review NOACA’s transportation planning processes and products to re-certify the agency as the region’s metropolitan planning organization. The processes and products to be reviewed include the long-range transportation plan, the short-range capital improvement plan, the annual work program, a congestion management process, air quality conformity documentation and public involvement.

NOACA will conduct a public meeting as part of the federal certification review on January 12 at 6 p.m. NOACA performs this work in coordination with the Ohio Department of Transportation, transit agencies and other partners.
