INSTRUCTORS: GARRETT ORMISTON & KEN SCHNEIDER
Invite Mom on a walk through the magnificent forest of the Museum's Cox Preserve. A rich carpet of spring wildflowers—trillium, black and blue cohosh, trout lily, hepatica, yellow mandarin, and more—will be in bloom. We'll search headwater streams for salamanders and other aquatic species, and keep our eyes and ears open for migrating songbirds pausing for respite in the beeches, hickories, and magnolias. P.S. Everyone is welcome, not just moms!
