Plastic is not the problem it is the chemicals we are letting into the lake and our soil. When was the last time you heard of someone getting sick from plastic, when was the last time you heard of someone getting asthma from plastic, when was the last time you heard of a baby touching plastic dying of plastic. Yes plastic is a problem however the chemical industry loves it that you are focused on plastic. Wake up and open your eyes the chemicals are going to cause more problems than plastic will ever cause.
