Clevelanders for Public Transit will be kicking off a campaign to improve transit.

Join TransitCenter for a free event (food included) and panel discussion featuring Akshai Singh from Clevelanders for Public Transit, José C. Feliciano, Jr. from GCRTA, Cleveland City Councilman Kerry McCormick, and Cuyahoga County Councilman Dale Miller.

The panel will be moderated by Bethia Burke from the Fund for our Economic Future.

TransitCenter is a national foundation dedicated to urban mobility. TransitCenter is concerned with the recent cuts and fare increases causing ridership to decline in Cleveland. They have great ideas to help us turn this around!

The 22, 45, 51, 79, 81 buses and red line all stop nearby.

UH bikeshare is also nearby. New UHBikes riders can use the code CL34TRANS1T for a $3.50 credit on the pay-as-you-go membership. That's a half hour of free ride time! Sign up at uhbikes.com or by downloading the Social Bicycles app. Lock up at the W. 25th/Lorain station or at the Market Garden bike box for no out-of-hub charge.
