Gardening with Green Corps: Composting at Home
Expand your recycling efforts turning yard and food waste into a valuable resource for your garden. In this workshop, participants will learn how to build a compost pile of their own, what can be composted, the differences between composting methods and systems, and the importance of worms and aeration. A portion of this workshop will include a presentation as well as outdoor hands-on components. Afterward, participants can tour this Green Corps farm to see how composting and urban farming are thriving in Cleveland. Please dress for the weather and bring a water bottle and gardening gloves.
