Erie Hack Information Session
Learn more about how you can get involved with an innovation competition that spurs creative solutions to Lake Erie Basin's greatest problems! Our info session will cover how the competition works, the success from the previous Erie Hacks in 2017 and 2019, the three challenge statements that will guide the competition, how to get involved, and more!
Erie Hack is a multi-month innovation challenge that brings together techies, creative thinkers, and entrepreneurs from the U.S. and Canada to develop technology solutions for Lake Erie challenges, such as water quality, infrastructure, and social awareness. Since its inception in 2017, Erie Hack has been a collaboration between Cleveland Water Alliance and partners from Buffalo, Detroit, Windsor, and Toledo.
Lake Erie provides drinking water for 11 million people and a regional water economy that inspires innovations with applications to regional, national, and global markets. As a program of CWA, Erie Hack is designed to enable innovations that solve our greatest water problems! Find out more at eriehack.io.
Erie Hack is a program of the Cleveland Water Alliance in partnership with local champions at TechTown Detroit, Midstory, Blackstone LaunchPad at The University at Buffalo, and WEtech Alliance. Erie Hack is presented by the First Solar Community Giving Fund of the Greater Toledo Community Foundation and the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District.
