Community of Hope has led the Open Table Initiative in Cuyahoga County since 2014. In 2019, we launched the HOPE Program a Cleveland-based, trauma-informed team mentoring program specifically designed for youth who have aged out.

We gather 4-6 community volunteers around one young person (age 18-28). Groups (called Communities) meet weekly for an hour a week and help the young person work on their goals. We believe that the work we do is breaking cycles in families by building communities of supportive people around one person at a time. We have over 460 volunteers and have 60 Communities. We are looking for more volunteers for 2020 willing to serve youth who leave foster care.
