Join HF&G President & CEO, Ed Moydell and the City of Cleveland for an Arbor Day ceremonial tree planting. Remarks will begin at 1 p.m. in Woodland Hall, followed by the ceremonial planting off East Boulevard.

Activities

Power of Plants
Programs start at 10:30am and 4:30pm
Power of Plants is an interactive program geared towards children aged 3-12 (grades PK-6). We’ll answer many questions about nature including; What do people get from plants? Why do we need plants? and more.

Crafts in Hershey Children’s Garden
Programs start at 11am and 5pm
Drop-in for a nature-based craft and spend some time exploring our children’s garden as the blossoms continue to pop.

People for Trees Presentation
Starts at 3pm
Learn how the tree canopy has changed in northeast Ohio, how these changes are impacting our quality of life, and what HF&G is doing to mitigate those changes. Find out how you can support our People for Trees movement by joining a vast community of concerned citizens across northeast Ohio who are working to restore our tree canopy, starting in their own backyard.
