The Coalition for Green Capital received $5 billion from the EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund to establish the first US national green bank. Through the CGC Community Net Zero Accelerator, we will unleash a combination of investments and up to $90 million in grants to help communities reach net zero — and you may be eligible!  

CGC will be calling on communities across the country with decarbonization plans, including in your area, to submit proposals that demonstrate how you can implement your plans to reach net zero faster, cheaper, and more inclusive.

As we move Beyond Day One, we invite you to join us on October 2nd for the unveiling of additional details from our Investment and Capital Office, Network Office, and Impact Office. We will share the timeline for the proposal process and provide eligible communities with instructions on how to participate.
