This session will look at innovative projects in Cleveland like the Lake Erie wind turbine project, the first offshore wind facility in the Great Lakes and the first freshwater wind farm in North America. The lakefront land bridge project proposes to build a bridge from the Mall to the North Coast Harbor connecting our city center with the waterfront. Microgrid technology is being discussed in Cleveland and Cleveland State University will review the feasibility study recently completed. NOACA will give a high level overview of the potential Chicago hyperloop. This would allow travel from Cleveland to Chicago in about 30 minutes! All fascinating projects and we'll get the latest information on each. Cleveland Foundation is funding three of these projects. We're fortunate to have a foundation in Cleveland with the vision to support these innovative projects.
