Acres Cleaned
Since 2009, approximately 645 acres of brownfield sites have been cleaned up in the City of Cleveland. A brownfield is a piece of property whose redevelopment is complicated by the potential presence of environmental contaminants such as hazardous substances, asbestos, lead-based paint, and petroleum.
