1st Annual Northeast Ohio Green Conference
Bringing Cleveland, Ohio to the Forefront of Sustainability
This year’s theme is focused on where Cleveland, Ohio sits on the movement towards sustainability and will have an all-inclusive panel discussion on this theme. Along with that, student and educator poster sessions and breakout sessions will expand upon this theme with specific topics around sustainability and the natural world in Northeast Ohio.
Youth and Educator led Breakout Sessions and Poster Sessions – We are actively seeking out breakout session and poster session presentations from school groups and/ or educators. Our objective is to provide students and schools with an opportunity to share and showcase their current and past work to address sustainability and natural sciences on any of the following topics;
· Sustainability
· Renewable and nonrenewable energy
· How the natural world functions (plants, animals, geography, etc.)
· Lake Erie
· Economic impact of moving to a sustainable economy
Call for proposals are now open! To submit a 30- 45-minute breakout or poster session, please follow this link SUBMIT A BREAKOUT OR POSTER SESSION PROPOSAL (deadline for proposals is March 6, 2020.)
Please share this event with others! We hope to gain a diverse student population with a mix of educators to provide an educational experience and an opportunity to grow and network themselves.
**More information will be provided in the coming months!**
