By reducing the amount of waste the city produces and sends to landfills, Cleveland can improve human health through the elimination of hazardous waste, protect and increase property values and quality of place, as well as save business, government, organizations and the community money. Share your success story here!

  • Make zero waste events the standard in your community.
  • Help your neighbors if they have any questions on recycling and direct them to One Simple Act Cleveland to learn how to recycle properly.
  • Start a compost pile at your neighborhood community garden. You can learn about composting from the County Solid Waste District.
