Water Advisories

Clevelanders depend on Lake Erie for drinking water as well as for recreational uses like boating, fishing, and swimming. One of the most consistently available data sources is the number of days per year that water advisories are posted on Lake Erie beaches. These numbers represent the annual average number of water advisory days per beach in Cuyahoga County; we aim for a decrease over time.
