Holden Forests & Gardens and Western Reserve Land Conservancy have partnered to provide Sherwick Tree Steward Trainings where citizens learn how to plant, care for and maintain trees. Training residents to maintain existing and newly planted trees is critical to the success of the Cleveland Tree Plan and our collective reforestation work.

This is Parts 3 & 4 of a 4-part series; you must have completed Parts 1 and 2 before registering for Parts 3 and 4. Please visit our event calendar for other training dates and times. These do not have to be completed at once but it is recommended.

Dress is casual and comfortable, but do dress for the weather as this will be rain or shine. This portion of the training will take place outside and you may want to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Sturdy shoes/boots are required—no sandals!

Bring water, work gloves and a snack.  No food or drink will be provided.
