2012
On September 20-21st, 2012, Sustainable Cleveland 2019 hosted the 4th Annual Sustainability Summit at Cleveland Public Auditorium. Mayor Jackson hosts an Annual Sustainability Summit to report progress to the community, create an agenda for the future and co-create our sustainable future.
The focus for the 2012 summit was two-fold—the current year’s celebration year of Local Foods and preparation for 2013, the Year of Advanced and Renewable Energy. At the summit we highlighted and continued to develop local and regional accomplishments relating to local food. We had both keynotes and panelists address topics surrounding Local Food production and distribution and Advanced and Renewable Energy.
